International Society for Teaching Debate was established on March 2015 to share information on research and educational practices on debate education.

Through the practices such as a camp for Japanese debate training, researchers, who recognize the importance of the existence of an organization for discussing research and practices of debate, decided to establish this community.

Our main activities include running a debate camp, holding conferences, publishing journals, and supporting debate tournaments.
